Personal Note: My new song "Unknown Land" is now available!

For those readers who also follow or are interested in my musical adventures, I'm very happy to be able to share the good news that I released my first new song since late 2023 today. It's called "Unknown Land". As you might guess from the title, it's an attempt to address through music some of my emotions and thoughts about our present moment.

If you would like to hear it, you can search for “Wayne Parker” on your favorite music streaming service. There are several of us “Wayne Parkers” on these services, so be sure you find the one with a picture that looks like me, and has my Strangers album and the new single listed on it. The Memory Cache blog has links built in to my music web site and to my YouTube channel for simplicity. The music site also has several more helpful links and other information about the musical side of my creative life.

As with my other songs, I wrote and arranged the music and lyrics, and played and sang most of what you will hear on Unknown Land. Special thanks to Matt Taylor at Echo Lake Studio, who mixed and mastered the song, and added electronic drums, some backup vocals and a very tasteful guitar part.
